Carrie-Anne Moss Joins Marvel’s A.K.A. JESSICA JONES

Marvel and Netflix are rounding up a rather impressive cast for their upcoming TV series "A.K.A. Jessica Jones", and the latest name to pop up is Carrie-Anne Moss ("The Matrix"). The actress will play "a no-nonsense woman who could prove a powerful ally to Jessica…if Jessica doesn’t completely alienate her first.". The cast also features Krysten Ritter ("Breaking Bad") in the lead role, David Tennant ("Doctor Who"), Rachael Taylor ("The Loft") and Mike Colter ("The Good Wife"). The show is written and executive produced by Melissa Rosenberg ("Dexter"). The 13 episodes of the first season are set to air this year. Until then, here is the show's official synopsis:

"After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter, Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23) is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City. An enigmatic figure from Jessica’s past, Kilgrave’s reappearance will send shockwaves through the former super hero’s world."

Rachael Taylor Joins Marvel's A.K.A. JESSICA JONES

Rachael Taylor is set to star in Marvel's upcoming TV series "A.K.A. Jessica Jones". The show is currently deep into the casting process and we've already heard that Krysten Ritter is set to star as the title character, David Tennant will play the villain and Mike Colter has joined the cast as Luke Cage. Taylor will take the role of Trish Walker, who is described as follows:

"Trish Walker (Taylor), the best friend of Jessica (Ritter), is a syndicated radio talk show host, former model and child television star who’s best known to her fans as ‘Patsy’ Walker, based on the Marvel Comics character who appeared under the superhero identity of Hellcat. In the series, Trish will help Jessica embark on the most dangerous case of her career."

All 13 episodes of "A.K.A. Jessica Jones" will premiere on Netflix after the debut of Marvel's "Daredevil" on April 15th.
