The Canadian crime drama series "Bellevue" stars Anna Paquin as a detective who investigates the disappearance of a transgender high school hockey star (Sadie O'Neil) in the small town of Bellevue. The disappearance may be related to a murder in the same small town 20 years ago. Meanwhile she also has to deal with her on-and-off again relationship with her boyfriend (Allen Leech), her boss Police Chief Peter Welland (Shawn Doyle) and a mysterious person from her past.
The series was created by Jane Maggs and Adrienne Mitchell and also stars Billy MacLellan, Sharon Taylor, Patrick Labbe, Vincent Leclerc, Janine Theriault, Victoria Sanchez and Madison Ferguson.
"Bellevue" premieres tonight, January 23, 2018, on WGN at 10p.
