Product Description: In 1800s England, acclaimed but unrecognized fossil hunter Mary Anning (Kate Winslet) works alone on the rugged Southern coastline. "Ammonite" is a romantic drama written and directed by Francis Lee ("The Farmer's Wife", "God's Own Country").

Loosely inspired by the life of British palaeontologist Mary Anning, the film is set in 1840s England, and follows the intense relationship between Anning (Kate Winslet) and a young woman (Saoirse Ronan) sent to convalesce by the sea. Gemma Jones, James McArdle, Alec Secăreanu, and Fiona Shaw co-star.

"Ammonite" premiered at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival and was released via streaming on November 13, 2020.
