"The Angry Birds Movie 2" is an animated film directed by Thurop Van Orman (writer on "Adventure Time") and John Rice (character designer on "The Simpsons"), from a script by Peter Ackerman ("Ice Age"), Eyal Podell & Jonathon E. Stewart ("Smallfoot"). The film is a sequel to the 2016 film "The Angry Birds Movie", and both are based on Rovio Entertainment's "Angry Birds" video game series.

In this sequel, a new threat emerges that puts both Bird and Pig Island in danger, forcing both the flightless angry birds and the scheming green piggies to form an unlikely superteam, in order to save their homes. the voice cast includes Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Leslie Jones, Bill Hader, Rachel Bloom, Awkwafina, Eugenio Derbez, Danny McBride, Peter Dinklage and more.

"The Angry Birds Movie 2" opened in theaters on August 16, 2019.

THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE - 7 Clips and 21 Posters

As the "The Angry Birds Movie" makes its debut in theaters, we have seven new clips and twenty-one posters for your enjoyment.

The movie has been receiving mixed to negative reviews from critics who took issue with the movie's lack of a good story, characters, and a somewhat misguided message regarding anger. On the other hand, it's nowhere near as bad as a movie based on an app could have been, and does provide some occasional fun within its limited scope.

The film features the voices of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Bill Hader, and Peter Dinklage.

New THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE Trailer and Posters

A new trailer and posters for "The Angry Birds Movie" have been released online. The film is an adaptation of the popular game of the same name and it introduces us to Red (Jason Sudeikis), a bird with anger management issues living on an island populated by flightless birds. Red has to team up with his friends to battle the mysterious invasion of a race of green pigs.

Other charcaters in the film are voiced by Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Bill Hader, and Peter Dinklage.

"Angry Birds" opens in 3D on May 20, 2016.

The first trailer, images and poster for the "Angry Birds" movie have been released. Based on the addictive mobile game of the same name, the film tells the story of Red (Jason Sudeikis), a bird with anger management issues who is living on an island populated by flightless birds. When this peaceful paradise is invaded by mysterious green piggies, it's up to Red and his friends to stop them.
