The fourth season of the crime drama series "Animal Kindom" has premiered on May 28, 2019 on TNT. The series was developed by Jonathan Lisco based on the 2010 Australian film of the same name by David Michod.
The show follows 17-year-old Joshua "J" Cody (Finn Cole), who finds himself living with his grandmother Janine "Smurf" Cody (Ellen Barkin), a formidable and manipulative matriarch from the California coast, whose family is involved in dangerous criminal activities. The cast also includes Shawn Hatosy, Ben Robson, Jake Weary and Spencer Treat Clark. Emily Deschanel joins the fourth season's cast.
