"Avenue 5" is a new sci-fi comedy created by Armando Iannucci ("Veep"). The show is set in the future onboard the titular interplanetary cruise ship, which is set off course by a massive systems malfunction. Returning to Earth would take the ship years, and with only enough supplies to sustain her many passengers for the intended month-long cruise, the crew of the Avenue 5 must struggle to maintain order and return the craft safely.

The cast features Hugh Laurie, Suzy Nakamura, Rebecca Front, Zach Woods, Josh Gad, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Lenora Crichlow, Ethan Phillips and Himesh Patel.

"Avenue 5" premiered on January 19, 2020 on HBO.

The seventh and final season of Armando Iannucci's political satire comedy series "Veep" has premiered on March 31, 2019 on HBO. The last seven episodes of the show find Selina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) back in the presidential race, wooing uber-wealthy donors while navigating threats from primary challengers, including aide-turned-congressman Jonah Ryan (Timothy Simons). The cast also includes Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Reid Scott, Matt Walsh, Kevin Dunn, Gary Cole, Sam Richardson, Sarah Sutherland and Clea DuVall.

Soon, Selina and her staff, back in D.C. for Mike’s (Matt Walsh) wedding, learn that Secretary of Defense Maddox is resigning – setting Selina up for a possible run in the presidential primaries against Maddox and her nemesis, war-vet Danny Chung.
