The winners of the 2018 BAFTA awards have been announced. The British Academy of Television Arts handed out the awards on Sunday night at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The ceremony was hosted by Joanna Lumley.
The big winner was "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri", which took home five trophies for Best Film, Actress (Frances McDormand), Supporting Actor (Sam Rockwell), Original Screenplay and Best British Film. While Guillermo del Toro's "The Shape of Water" was considered a favorite with 12 nominations, it ultimately walked away with just three wins for Best Director, Music and Production Design.
As expected, Gary Oldman took home the award for Leading Actor, while Allison Janey won Supporting Actress for her performance in "I, Tonya". "Get Out" star Daniel Kaluuya won the Rising Star Award.
