"The Good Lord Bird" is a historical drama miniseries created by Ethan Hawke and Mark Richard based on the 2013 novel of the same name by James McBride.

Produced by Jason Blum, the series is told from the point of view of Henry Shackleford (Joshua Caleb Johnson), a fictional enslaved boy, who is part of John Brown's (Ethan Hawke) motley crew of abolitionist soldiers during the time of Bleeding Kansas, eventually participating in the famous 1859 raid on the Army depot at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Brown's raid failed to initiate the slave revolt he intended, but was the instigating event that started the American Civil War. The cast also includes Beau Knapp, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Nick Eversman and Ellar Coltrane.

"The Good Lord Bird" premiered on October 4, 2020 on Showtime.

SEVEN SECONDS Series Trailers, Clip, Images and Poster

"Seven Seconds" is a new crime drama anthology series from Netflix that explores the human stories behind the headlines in a society fraught with racial tension and an audience who would rather be entertained than informed. Seven seconds can be make the difference between life and death.

The first season focuses on the death of a black teenager from Jersey City, who is accidentaly run over by a white police officer, and the incident is covered up, leading to increased racial tensions in the community.

The series stars two-time Emmy winner Regina King ("American Crime"), breakout British actress Clare-Hope Ashitey ("Doctor Foster"), Russell Hornsby, Beau Knapp, Michael Mosely, David Lyons, Raul Castillo, and Zackary Momoh.

"Seven Seconds" premiered its entire 10-episode first season on February 23, 2018 on Netflix. The series received mixed to positive reviews from critics.

Trailer and Images for SAND CASTLE Starring Nicholas Hoult and Henry Cavill

Netflix has released the first trailer and images for their upcoming war drama "Sand Castle". Directed by Fernando Coimbra ("A Wolf at the Door"), the film is set during the occupation of Iraq and follows a squad of U.S. soldiers who try to protect a small village. The cast features Nicholas Hoult, Henry Cavill, Glen Powell, Logan Marshall-Green, Beau Knapp, Neil Brown Jr., Parker Sawyers, Sam Spruell, Sammy Sheik and Tommy Flanagan.

"Sand Castle" is set to premiere on April 14th.

THE GIFT (2015) - Trailer, Clips and Posters

The thriller "The Gift" opens in theaters today, so here are the official trailer, seven clips and three posters for the movie. Written, directed by and starring Joel Edgerton, the film tells the story of a young married couple, Simon (Jason Bateman) and Robyn (Rebecca Hall) whose lives take a brutal turn for the worse when they meet Gordo (Edgerton), one of Simon's high school acquaintances, who is about to uncover a dark secret from his past.

Reviews for the movie have been stellar. While most critics acknowledged the existence of the usual genre cliches, the film managed to surprise everyone with influences from filmmaking masters like Alfred Hitchcock and Michael Haneke.

The film also stars Beau Knapp, Wendell Pierce, Tim Griffin, Allison Tolman and Mirrah Foulkes.
