Weekend Box-Office: DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE Back On Top While THE CROW Crashes and Burns and BLINK TWICE Underperforms

As Summer is coming to an end, the US box-office is still doing well thanks to some pretty impressive earners. "Deadpool & Wolverine" made a comeback over the weekend, becoming the first film to return to No. 1 after losing the top spot since "Wonka" performed the same feat over the 2023 New Year's Eve weekend. It wasn't all good news, however, as newcomers like "Blink Twice", "The Forge" and "The Crow" failed to impress.

"Blink Twice" is a thriller directed by Zoe Kravitz in her directorial debut from a script she co-wrote alongside E.T. Feigenbaum. The cast features Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum, Christian Slater, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Kyle MacLachlan, Geena Davis and Alia Shawkat. The film opened in theaters on August 23, 2024.
