Trailer, Images and Poster for CLOSE (2019) Starring Noomi Rapace

"Close" is an action thriller directed by Vicky Jewson ("Born of War") and inspired by Jacquie Davis, one of the world's leading female bodyguards, whose clients have included J. K. Rowling, Nicole Kidman and members of the British royal family.

Noomi Rapace stars as Sam, a bodyguard and counter-terrorism expert who takes a job protecting a rich young heiress (Sophie Nelisse). A violent kidnapping attempt forces the two to go on the run. Eoin Macken and Indira Varma co-star.

"Close" was released on January 18, 2019 via Netflix and received mixed reviews from critics.

Today we have new trailers for:

• The kidnapping action thriller "Close" starring Noomi Rapace and Sophie Nelisse ("The Book Thief"). The film is loosely inspired by the life of the world's leading female bodyguard, British security expert Jacquie Davis.
• The animated sequel "The Secret Life Of Pets 2". The new trailer introduces the character Daisy, voiced by Tiffany Haddish, an adorable young Shih Tzu who enlists the help of Captain Snowball (Kevin Hart) to rescue a circus tiger.
• The biopic "Lords of Chaos" directed by black metal musician-turned-filmmaker Jonas Akerlund ("Spun", "Small Apartments"). The film is based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Michael Moynihan and Didrik Soderlind and it chronicles the rise and fall of 1980s Norwegian black metal band "Mayhem". The cast features Rory Culkin, Emory Cohen, Jack Kilmer and Valter Skarsgard.
• Award-winning Polish romantic drama "Cold War" from Oscar-winning director Pawel Pawlikowski ("Ida"). The film won the Best Director award at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival and has a good shot at this year's Oscars.
• Netflix's Korean zombie series "Kingdom" created and written by Kim Eun-hee ("Signal")
• The Netflix dramedy series "Sex Education" starring Asa Butterfield and Gillian Anderson.
• The prison thriller "Heartlock" starring Alexander Dreymon ("The Last Kingdom"), Erik LaRay Harvey ("Luke Cage") and Lesley-Ann Brandt ("Lucifer".
