"Code 404" is a British police procedural comedy series created by Tom Miller, Sam Myer and Daniel Peak.
Set in the near future, the show follows partners Major (Daniel Mays and Carver (Stephen Graham), the best of the best at the Special Investigation Unit, an elite undercover police team. Major is shot dead at a covert arms bust gone wrong, and resurrected using pioneering AI. However, budgets being what they are, the software had a few glitches, so Major is left with his judgement, ability and large parts of his memory impaired, making him far more of a liability dead than he ever was alive.
"Code 404" premiered on April 29, 2020 on Sky One in the U.K., and on October 1, 2020 in the U.S. via Peacock.
