New on DVD and Blu-ray: May 30, 2017
The new DVD and Blu-ray releases for the week of May 30th, 2017 include the action thriller "Collide" starring Nicholas Hoult and Felicity Jones, the comedy "Fist Fight" starring Charlie Day and Ice Cube, the supernatural drama "Before I Fall", the faith-based drama "The Shack" and the horror "The Blackcoat's Daughter". Also out now on home video is the second season of the BBC Two series "The Last Kingdom".
Among the classic films released on Blu-ray this week we have the Criterion Collection edition of "Ghost World", the 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray of "Pelle The Conqueror", "The Son of the Sheik", "The Sheik", and many others.

COLLIDE Trailer, Clips, Images and Posters
"Collide" is an action thriller from "Welcome to the Punch" director Eran Creevy. The film stars Nicholas Hoult as an American backpacker who gets involved with a ring of drug smugglers headed by mob boss Hagen (Anthony Hopkins) as their driver. When a heist goes terribly wrong, he ends up on the run from his employers in an adrenaline-fueled car chase on the German highways.
The film also stars Felicity Jones, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Johnny Palmiero and Ben Kingsley.
The film finally premiered in the U.S. on February 24, 2017, after its initial October 30, 2015 release date was delayed when Relativity Media went bankrupt and was picked up in 2016 by Open Road. The film's critical reception was pretty bad, and its opening weekend at the box-office was nothing short of a disaster, with only $1.5 million from 2,045 theaters.

Weekend Box-Office: GET OUT Scares Off Competition
The Oscars weekend was pretty light on major new releases, which allowed Blumhouse's new horror film "Get Out" to explode and dominate the box-office, while fellow new arrivals "Rock Dog" and "Collide" failed to make the Top 10.

In Theaters: GET OUT, COLLIDE, ROCK DOG, THE GIRL WITH ALL THE GIFTS
This week in theaters we have Jordan Peele's directorial debut, the horror film "Get Out", the action film "Collide" starring Nicholas Hoult and Felicity Jones, and the animated feature "Rock Dog". In limited release, you absolutely have to check out the awesome British zombie flick "The Girl With All the Gifts".
