Rosamund Pike Picture
Oscar nominated "Gone Girl" star Rosamund Pike has signed on to star in the thriller "I Care A Lot". Written and directed by J. Blakeson ("The 5th Wave", "The Disappearance of Alice Creed"), the film will follow a highly successful legal guardian (Pike) with a knack for using the law to her benefit and her clients' detriment, who cherry picks a seemingly perfect client, only to discover that looks are deceiving.

Producer Teddy Schwarzman ("The Imitation Game") said the following about the film:
"J has written one of the boldest and most entertaining scripts we’ve ever read, and we have been a fan of J’s work ever since seeing The Disappearance Of Alice Creed. We can think of no one better to play I Care A Lot’s fierce, intelligent and unrelenting lead than Rosamund Pike, who deserves all the accolades she’s received to date and more. We can’t wait to see Rosamund do something truly memorable with this iconic role."
Pike earned a Golden Globe nomination this year for her performance in the biopic "A Private War". She can also be seen next year in another biopic, "Radioactive", in which she plays Marie Curie, the first woman to win the Nobel Prize. She will also star in the upcoming SundanceTV comedy series "State of the Union" opposite Chris O'Dowd.

Crimson Tide 1995 Denzel Washington Gene Hackman

CRIMSON TIDE

Review by Gabriel

FILM DETAILS
Review Score: 90% (Excellent)
Director: Tony Scott
Genre: Thriller, Drama, Action.
Starring: Denzel Washington, Gene Hackman, Viggo Mortensen, James Gandolfini, Matt Craven.
Runtime: 116 min / 123 min (Ext.)
Rating: R, for strong language.
There are too few good submarine movies. The old ones were in the sweet old Second World War heroic tradition, very clean and neat. Then, in the ’80s, Wolfgang Petersen brought us "Das Boot". That’s enough to forgive him about "Troy". "Das Boot" is a classic war film, brutal and realistic, both a tribute to the young sailors who fought in the war and an unique work of suspense. No submarine related film has ever come close to equaling Petersen’s epic. But in 1995, "Crimson Tide" came very, very close.
