"Den of Thieves 2: Pantera" is an action thriller written and directed by Christian Gudegast inspired by the 2003 Antwerp diamond heist. The film is a sequel to the 2018 film "Den of Thieves", and it stars Gerard Butler, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Evin Ahmad, Salvatore Esposito, Meadow Williams and Swen Temmel. It opened in theaters on January 10, 2025.

Weekend Box-Office: JUMANJI Threepeats at #1 While 12 STRONG and DEN OF THIEVES Overperform

The weekend featured two new releases, "12 Strong" and "Den of Thieves" that performed better than expected, but it's still "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" that dominates the box-office for a third consecutive weekend, more than a month after its release.

Written and directed by Christian Gudegast ("A Man Apart" and "London Has Fallen" screenwriter), the heist thriller "Den of Thieves" focuses on the intersecting lives of an elite unit of the LA County Sheriff's Department and a cunning crew of bank robbers that plans to raid the Federal Reserve Bank.

The film stars Gerard Butler, Jordan Bridges, Pablo Schreiber, 50 Cent, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Kaiwi Lyman, Brian Van Holt, Evan Jones, Dawn Olivieri and Cooper Andrews.

"Den of Thieves" opened in theaters on January 19, 2018 and received mixed reviews from critics who enjoyed how well the old-school formula worked, but still thought it was pretty derivative and too long.
