F1 The Movie New On Dvd Bluray And 4k

Product Description: From Apple Original Films and the filmmakers from Top Gun: Maverick comes the high-octane, action-packed feature film F1® The Movie, starring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski. The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Kosinski, seven-time FORMULA 1® world champion Lewis Hamilton, Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Chad Oman.

Dubbed "the greatest that never was," Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) was FORMULA 1's most promising phenom of the 1990s until an accident on the track nearly ended his career. Thirty years later, he's a nomadic racer-for-hire when he's approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), owner of a struggling FORMULA 1 team that is on the verge of collapse. Ruben convinces Sonny to come back to FORMULA 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world. He'll drive alongside Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), the team's hotshot rookie intent on setting his own pace. But as the engines roar, Sonny's past catches up with him and he finds that in FORMULA 1, your teammate is your fiercest competition—and the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone.

F1® The Movie also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem, and was shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competed against the titans of the sport.

Kosinski directs from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger, story by Kosinski & Kruger. The film is executive produced by Daniel Lupi. Collaborating with Kosinski behind the scenes are his creative team, including director of photography Claudio Miranda, production designers Mark Tildesley and Ben Munro, editor Stephen Mirrione, costume designer Julian Day, casting director Lucy Bevan and composer Hans Zimmer.

As expected, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" was a hit for Marvel and easily their biggest compared to recent releases like "Captain America: Brave New World", "Thunderbolts" and "The Marvels", but it's still very far from the studio's big hits of yesteryear, proving that "superhero fatigue" is very much a real thing. With no other major wide releases hitting theaters over the weekend, smaller films like the rom-com "Oh, Hi!" and the horror film "The Home" made it into the Top 10.

Weekend Box Office Superman I Know What You Did Last Summer Smurfs Eddington

James Gunn's "Superman" is stil the #1 movie at the box-office in its second weekend, not least of all due to the underperforming new releases. The new films released over the weekend included the slasher horror reboot/sequel "I Know What You Did Last Summer", the animated film "Smurfs", and Ari Aster's dark satire "Eddington".

Weekend Box Office Superman

James Gunn's "Superman", DC Studios' first in a newly rebooted "Gods and Monsters" cinematic universe, is off to a great start, even though it's not quite the best-ever superhero movie opening weekend. The movie also helped the overall box office gain momentum after a series of weekends that kept trailing behind 2024.

Weekend Box Office Jurassic World Rebirth

"Jurassic World: Rebirth" was the only new major wide release over the July 4 holiday weekend, and it's not hard to see why as the film enjoyed a tremendous debut, although by franchise standards it's far from an all-time best. Also released over the weekend was the classic mockumentary comedy "This Is Spinal Tap", which made the Top 10 for its 41st Anniversary re-release.
