A new trailer has been released for the horror film "The Quiet Ones". The trailer is quite effective in setting up the atmosphere and (thankfully) steers away from the spoilery enthusiasm of other movie trailers. The film is written and directed by John Pogue ("Ghost Ship", "The Skulls") and it stars Jared Harris, Olivia Cooke, Sam Claflin and Erin Richards.

"The Quiet Ones" opens in theaters on April 25, 2014.

Today we have a bunch of new posters for the upcoming horror film "The Quiet Ones". The new posters include three banners and three character one-sheets, as well as the motion poster versions of the character posters. Written and directed by John Pogue ("Ghost Ship", "The Skulls"), the film stars Jared Harris, Olivia Cooke, Sam Claflin and Erin Richards.

"The Quiet Ones" opens in theaters on April 25, 2014.

The full theatrical trailer for the horror film "The Quiet Ones" has been released. The film stars Jared Harris ("Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows") as an unorthodox professor who recruits some of his best students for a private experiment: the creation of a poltergeist. The object of this experiment is an alluring, but dangerously disturbed young woman (Olivia Cooke). In the end, they realise that they may have awakened an unspeakable force with a power beyond all explanation. The film also stars Sam Claflin and Erin Richards.

"The Quiet Ones" opens in theaters on April 25, 2014.

The film stars Richard Cabral, Carlos Pratts, Eddie J. Fernandez, Jorge Diaz, David Fernandez Jr., Kimberly Ables Jindra, Tonja Kahlens and Frank Salinas.

From the makers of "The Woman in Black" comes "The Quiet Ones", an intriguing piece of found footage horror. An exclusive trailer has been released for the film which stars Jared Harris ("Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows") as an unorthodox professor who uses controversial methods and leads his best students in a dangerous experiment designed to create a poltergeist and provide material evidence of the phenomenon. Also starring Sam Claflin ("Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides"), Olivia Cooke ("Bates Motel") and Erin Richards ("Breaking In"), "The Quiet Ones" opens in theaters on April 11, 2014.

devil's due 2014 allison miller

The first trailer and poster have been released for 20th Century Fox's upcoming found footage horror film "Devil's Due". Zach Gilford ("Friday Night Lights") and Allison Miller ("17 Again", "Terra Nova") star as a couple who discover that their pregnancy may actually be harboring Satan's spawn. Even though the premise echoes "Rosemary's Baby", nothing in this trailer comes even remotely close to that film's subtly chilling atmosphere. Instead this film seems to be focused on "Paranormal Activity" jump scares and the usual found footage gimmicks. "Devil's Due" is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett ("V/H/S") and will open in theaters on January 17, 2014.

Paranormal Activity Marked Ones 2014

The first trailer for the horror sequel Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones has been released. The film marks a departure of sorts from the classic Paranormal Activity formula. Firstly, it won't be released in October. Secondly, it features Latino characters and the events take place in the urban setting of Oxnard, California. Other than that, for those expecting a comeback of the Paranormal Activity franchise, it doesn't look like this will be it. In fact, the only thing truly creepy here, is the acting. And, in trying to assure fans that this is still connected to the previous installments, the trailer reveals a bit too much of the plot. The film stars Richard Cabral, Carlos Pratts, Eddie J. Fernandez, Jorge Diaz, David Fernandez Jr., Kimberly Ables Jindra, Tonja Kahlens and Frank Salinas. Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones opens on January 3, 2014.

Press Release / Synopsis: Grindstone Entertainment Group has acquired all North American rights for the feature film BIGFOOT COUNTY, a found footage thriller about a group of filmmakers who ventured into Siskiyou County in Northern California, an area widely known for its Bigfoot sightings, and disappeared. Their footage was found a year later. Grindstone will release the film this winter through Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

Stephon Stewart who is the director also stars in the film along with Davee Youngblood and Shy Pilgreen. It was produced by DragonGate Films and You Wanna Do This Or Not Productions.

“I went up to shoot a movie on Bigfoot, then a local I met with presented me with evidence that blew my mind”, says BIGFOOT COUNTY director Stephon Stewart. “After seeing this film, you will begin to believe what many have doubted since the 1967 Patterson/Gimlin Bigfoot Footage was released.”

Grindstone’s Ryan Black added that “The film puts a scary twist on a classic legend. Bigfoot enthusiasts and horror fans alike will really enjoy what Stewart has created.”
