Mad Max 5 Film Collection New On %204k Ultra Hd

Product Description: Mad Max 1979: Mel Gibson stars as "Mad" Max Rockatansky in the first of the action-packed Mad Max movies. A policeman in post-apocalyptic Australia, Max plans to retire to spend time with his wife and young son. But a when vicious motorcycle gang murders his family, Max becomes a one-man army with on a full-throttle mission for revenge.

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior: The meek shall inherit the earth. Wrong. Not in the bleak near-future of the second of three Mad Max movies. Mel Gibson stars in the film that made him an international superstar as Max, a former cop reduced to scavenging for gasoline—the decaying world's most prized commodityas he cruises the barren, post-apocalyptic Outback along highways crawling with human vermin.

Mad Max 3: Beyond Thunderdome: Mel Gibson and Tina Turner star in the third film of the Mad Max series. Max stumbles onto a desert city in the post-apocalyptic world that is built on the principle of unbridled, cutthroat capitalism where anything--even a human life--can be bartered. Caught in a power struggle between the city's two rulers, Max breaks the one inviolable rule of a city with no other rules when he refuses to kill.

Mad Max: Fury Road: From filmmaker George Miller, originator of the post-apocalyptic genre and mastermind behind the legendary Mad Max trilogy, comes this return to the world of the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky. Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max (Tom Hardy -- The Dark Knight Rises) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a band of survivors fleeing across the Wasteland in a war rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Oscar ® winner Charlize Theron -- Prometheus). They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and ruthlessly pursues the rebels in the high-octane Road War that follows.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga: Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth star in Academy Award-winning mastermind George Miller's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, the much-anticipated return to the iconic dystopian world he created more than 40 years ago with the seminal "Mad Max" films. Miller now turns the page again with an all-new original, standalone action adventure that will reveal the origins of the powerhouse character from the multiple Oscar-winning global smash Mad Max: Fury Road. As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home

Weekend Box Office Mad Max Furiosa

The "Mad Max" spin-off "Furiosa" is off to a lackluster start, but still opened in first place over the worst Memorial Day weekend in nearly three decades. The animated film "The Garfield Movie" came close, but had to settle with second place. Things might change when the final numbers come in, since both studios are reporting that its own movie is the weekend's No.1. The other new wide release, Angel Studios' biographical drama "Sight" tanked in its opening weekend.

anya-taylor-joy-cast-in-mad-max-prequel-furiosa
George Miller's "Furiosa", the prequel to 2015's "Mad Max: Fury Road" is gearing up for production, and we have our first major casting announcement. The veteran filmmaker will direct, co-write and produce the film.

Anya Taylor-Joy has been tapped to play the protagonist, a younger version of Furiosa, who was played by Charlize Theron in the original. According to Miller, he'd been searching for an actress in her 20s to take over the role. Initially he considered using de-aging technology to allow Theron, who is 44, to play the part again, but ultimately decided against it. Taylor-Joy is 24.

Taylor-Joy recently finished work on Edgar Wright's "Last Night in Soho" and is currently filming Robert Eggers' "The Northman".

The cast will also include Chris Hemsworth ("Thor", "Extraction") and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II ("Aquaman"). Hemsworth can next be seen "Thor: Love and Thunder", an untitled Hulk Hogan biopic, and a sequel to the Netflix action film "Extraction". Abdul-Mateen II is currently filming the fourth installment in "The Matrix" series and will also star in the "Candyman" reboot.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" production designer Colin Gibson, editor Margaret Sixel, sound mixer Ben Osmo, and makeup designer Lesley Vanderwalt will return to work on the prequel. Each of them won an Oscar for "Fury Road".
