"By Any Means" is a historical crime thriller directed by Elegance Bratton ("The Inspection") from a script by Sascha Penn ("Power Book III: Raising Kanan") based on the true story of the 1966 murder of Mississippi civil-rights leader and voter-registration organizer Vernon Dahmer Sr, and the unusual and dark partnership between the FBI and the New York mafia during the investiation.

The film stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Mark Wahlberg, Nicole Beharie, Josh Lucas, David Strathairn, and Giancarlo Esposito. It was released in theaters on September 4, 2026 by Paramount Pictures.

MAN ON FIRE Netflix Series Trailers, Clip, Images and Posters

"Man on Fire" is a new action thriller series created by Kyle Killen based on the 1980 novel by A.J. Quinnell, which was previously adapted into the 1987 film starring Scott Glenn, and Tony Scott's 2004 film of the same name starring Denzel Washington.

The show stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Billie Boullet, Alice Braga, Scoot McNairy, Paul Ben-Victor and Bobby Cannavale. The first season consists of seven episodes. It premiered on April 30, 2026 on Netflix.

CANDYMAN (2021) - Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

The 2021 horror film "Candyman" is a direct sequel to the 1992 film of the same name, which in turn was based on Clive Barker's short story "The Forbidden". Directed by Nia DaCosta from a script co-written by DaCosta, Jordan Peele and Win Rosenfeld, the film is the fourth installment in the series.

The cast includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Teyonah Parris, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and Colman Domingo, with Tony Todd, Vanessa Estelle Williams and Virginia Madsen reprising their roles from the original film.

Universal Pictures released the film in theaters on August 27, 2021.

THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO 7 (2020) - Trailers, Clips, Featurette Images and Poster

"The Trial of the Chicago 7" is a historical legal drama written and directed by Aaron Sorking ("Molly's Game").

The film is based on the story of the Chicago Seven, a group of eight defendants charged by the federal government with conspiracy in 1969 and 1970, inciting to riot, and other charges related to anti-Vietnam War and countercultural protests that took place in Chicago, Illinois, on the occasion of the 1968 Democratic National Convention.

The ensemble cast includes Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne, Mark Rylance, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Daniel Flaherty, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Keaton, Caitlin FitzGerald, Frank Langella, John Carroll Lynch, Noah Robbins, Alex Sharp, and Jeremy Strong.

"The Trial of the Chicago 7" opened in select theaters on September 26, 2020, and was released on October 16, 2020 via Netflix.

MAD MAX Prequel FURIOSA Casts Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II

George Miller's "Furiosa", the prequel to 2015's "Mad Max: Fury Road" is gearing up for production, and we have our first major casting announcement. The veteran filmmaker will direct, co-write and produce the film.

Anya Taylor-Joy has been tapped to play the protagonist, a younger version of Furiosa, who was played by Charlize Theron in the original. According to Miller, he'd been searching for an actress in her 20s to take over the role. Initially he considered using de-aging technology to allow Theron, who is 44, to play the part again, but ultimately decided against it. Taylor-Joy is 24.

Taylor-Joy recently finished work on Edgar Wright's "Last Night in Soho" and is currently filming Robert Eggers' "The Northman".

The cast will also include Chris Hemsworth ("Thor", "Extraction") and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II ("Aquaman"). Hemsworth can next be seen "Thor: Love and Thunder", an untitled Hulk Hogan biopic, and a sequel to the Netflix action film "Extraction". Abdul-Mateen II is currently filming the fourth installment in "The Matrix" series and will also star in the "Candyman" reboot.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" production designer Colin Gibson, editor Margaret Sixel, sound mixer Ben Osmo, and makeup designer Lesley Vanderwalt will return to work on the prequel. Each of them won an Oscar for "Fury Road".
