FATHERS AND DAUGHTERS Trailer and Poster

The first trailer and poster for the drama "Fathers and Daughters" have been released online. Directed by Gabriele Muccino ("The Pursuit of Happyness"), the film tells the story of a Pulitzer-winning writer (Russell Crowe) who struggles with being a widower and father for his 5-year-old daughter, while 25 years later his grown daughter (Amanda Seyfried) battles the demons that stemmed from her troubled childhood. The film also stars Aaron Paul, Diane Kruger, Jane Fonda, Bruce Greenwood, Quvenzhané Wallis, Janet McTeer and Octavia Spencer.

"Fathers and Daughters" doesn't have a U.S. release date, but it will debut in October in Italy, Japan and The Netherlands.

Amanda Seyfried to Star in FATHERS AND DAUGHTERS Alongside Russell Crowe

Amanda Seyfried ("Lovelace") has signed on to star in the drama "Fathers and Daughters". She will team up with "Les Miserables" co-star Russell Crowe as a father and daughter living 25 years apart in New York City.

Russell Crowe will play "a famous novelist and widower struggling with mental illness as he tries to raise his 5-year-old daughter", and Amanda Seyfried will star as the "now-grown daughter in present-day Manhattan as she battles the aftermath of her troubled childhood". The film will be directed by Gabriele Muccino ("The Pursuit of Happyness") from a script by Brad Desch

Amanda Seyfried is currently filming the dramedy "While We're Young" written and directed by Noah Baumbach ("The Squid and the Whale") and can also be seen in 2014 in the western comedy "A Million Ways to Die in the West" from writer/director Seth MacFarlane, and the crime flick "The Girl Who Conned the Ivy League".

Blake Lively to Star in THE AGE OF ADALINE Alongside Ellen Burstyn

Blake Lively (Gossip Girl, Savages) will star alongside Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn (Requiem for a Dream, The Exorcist) in the long-delayed supernatural romance The Age of Adaline. Lively will star as a "a young woman born at the turn of the 20th century who is rendered ageless after an accident. She embarks on an epic, but isolated worldwide journey, keeping her secret, until she meets a man who forever alters her life."

The film will be directed by Lee Toland Krieger (Celeste & Jesse Forever) from a script by J. Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz. Previously, Gabriele Muccino (The Pursuit of Happyness) and Andy Tennant (Hitch) were attached to direct in 2011 and 2010, respectively. In 2010, Katherine Heigl (Grey's Anatomy) was attached to star in the lead role.

Lakeshore CEO Tom Rosenberg has said of Lively and Burstyn that "They’re extraordinarily talented and perfect for telling the beautiful and timeless tale of The Age Of Adaline". Blake Lively's last big screen role was in Oliver Stone's crime thriller Savages. Ellen Burstyn can also be seen in two new films next year, Christopher Nolan's Interstellar and Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman's sports drama Draft Day.
