for-honor-game-cinematic-trailer-new-gameplay-video-and-images

The cinematic trailer for Ubisoft's "For Honor" was released to announce the closed beta testing that the game will be going through between January 26 and January 29. The closed beta will also introduce the multiplatform clash between the Vikings, Samurai, and Knights, dubbed The War of the Factions, which will track players during the testing phase and reward the best fighters with various bonuses for their faction. Closed beta participants will also receive the "Emblems of Old", regardless of their performance, which represents the undying bravery and resilience of the game's mightiest heroes. All these rewards will carry over into the full game.

The gameplay video showcases the fighting styles of the Shugoki, Warlord, and Peacekeeper, the heroes of the game's three factions.

"For Honor" will be released on February 14th.

ghost-recon-wildlands-new-gameplay-video-and-images

A new gameplay video and some images for Ubisoft's "Ghost Recon Wildlands" have been released online. The video showcases one of the game's co-operative mission, and it's interesting to see how everything comes together in the end, although fans of the franchise's stealthy tactical elements will probably be disappointed by the Michael Bay-esque display of violence and explosions. It's really not very subtle and completely action-oriented, but don't worry, the game does allow players to take a stealthy approach to missions, as presented in another video released in October which you can check out after the jump, along with the live-action trailer released last week.

"Ghost Recon Wildlands" will be released on March 7th.

final-fantasy-7-biohazard-gameplay-videos

CAPCOM has released three gameplay videos that tease some of the new horrors that await in their upcoming survival horror game "Resident Evil VII biohazard". Also, there's a streaming gameplay video released by TheRelaxingEnd via YouTube that plays through "Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour", which is 90 minutes of pure terror. "Beginning Hour" is not a part of the final game, but it's a great introduction to what the game will be like.

This will be the first game in the franchise to feature a first-person perspective, and the action is set in modern day rural America, four years after the events of "Resident Evil 6". The protagonist, Ethan Winers, is a civilian, which severely limits the combat options we would all hope to have in a deadly situation such as this. While searching for his wife, Ethan comes across the derelict plantation mansion that belongs to the Baker family. The videos focus on some of the hide-and-seek games that players will have to endure inside the house of the deranged Baker family, and the atmosphere is quite disturbing, to say the least.

"Resident Evil VII biohazard" will be released on January 24th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The PlayStation 4 version will be playable in VR using the PlayStation VR headset.

Doom 4 Gameplay Trailer and Pictures

Bethesda revealed the gameplay trailer and footage for the fourth "Doom" game at its E3 conference. The trailer shows off the game's new idTech 6 engine and its simple, yet effective principles: run, aim, kill, pick up powerups. The latter still looks a little weird to me, but it's true to the game's roots. The gameplay footage displayed also showcased the multiplayer which will take place in arenas rangin from UAC facilities to the depths of hell. The online game modes will include "Domination", "Freeze Tag" and "Clan Arena". It was also announced that "Doom" will feature modding tools built into the game which will be a "a custom designed gateway to an endless stream of Doom experiences created by you." The game's story is as shallow as ever, simply giving the player an excuse to blow demons away using the usual array of weapons which will include a heavy assault rifle, super shotgun, plasma rifle and the fan-favorite chainsaw.

"Doom" will be released in Spring 2016.
