gone-girl-movie-teaser-trailer-poster

The first teaser trailer and poster for the thriller "Gone Girl" have been released. Directed by David Fincher ("The Social Network", "Zodiac"), the film is an adaptation of Gillian Flynn's novel of the same name, and Flynn also penned the screenplay. Ben Affleck stars as a man who is suspected of killing his wife (Rosamund Pike) after she disappears on their fifth wedding anniversary. While the trailer doesn't actually reveal much of the plot, it displays a lot of tension and stirs curiosity with a simple montage set to a cover of Elvis Costello's "She". It's a brilliant trailer, and I hope the film will be the same. Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit, Scoot McNairy, Missi Pyle, Casey Wilson, Emily Ratajkowski and Neil Patrick Harris also star.

"Gone Girl" opens in theaters on October 3rd.
