Weekend Box-Office: A QUIET PLACE PART II Destroys Pandemic Record and Disney's CRUELLA

In what was the best pandemic weekend at the box-office, John Krasinski's horror sequel "A Quiet Place Part II" scored a record-breaking debut over the Memorial Day Weekend, while Disney's hugely budgeted live-action origin story extravaganza Cruella" failed to impress.

"Godzilla vs. Kong is an monster action film directed by Adam Wingard ("You're Next", "Blair Witch") from a script by Eric Pearson ("Thor: Ragnarok") and Max Borenstein ("Kong: Skull Island"). The film stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir.

"Godzilla vs. Kong" was released in theaters internationally on March 24, 2021, while in the U.S. it was released both in theaters and via HBO Max on March 31, 2021.
