Weekend Box-Office: A QUIET PLACE PART II Destroys Pandemic Record and Disney's CRUELLA

In what was the best pandemic weekend at the box-office, John Krasinski's horror sequel "A Quiet Place Part II" scored a record-breaking debut over the Memorial Day Weekend, while Disney's hugely budgeted live-action origin story extravaganza Cruella" failed to impress.

"Raya and the Last Dragon" is an animated fantasy adventure film directed by Don Hall, Carlos Lopez Estrada, Paul Briggs and John Ripa from a script by Qui Ngyuen and Adele Lim.

The film features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Izaac Wang, Gemma Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, Benedict Wong, Sandra Oh, Thalia Tran and Alan Tudyk.

"Raya and the Last Dragon" was released simultaneously in theaters and via Disney+ on March 5, 2021.
