RAW Horror Movie Trailer, Clips, Images and Posters

"Raw", in french "Grave", is a French-Belgian horror film that gives cannibalism a modern spin. Written and directed by Julia Ducournau, the film tells the story of Justine (Garance Marillier) a vegetarian starting out at a veterinary school, who begins to experience a strange craving for flesh after participating in a hazing ritual that involved eating meat. Ella Rumpf, Rabah Nait Oufella, Joana Preiss and Laurent Lucas co-star.

"Raw" premiered in the U.S. on March 10th and received positive reviews from critics. It was also screened at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the FIPRESCI prize. Other screenings in Gothenburg and Toronto resulted in several participants fainting or requiring medical assistance due to the film's graphic content.

New Red Band Trailer and Poster for the Horror Film RAW

"Raw" is a delicious French-Belgian horror film that tells the story of a young vegetarian (Garance Marillier) who is just starting at a veterinary school. She is a brilliant and promising student, but she begins having a sudden and compulsive taste for fresh meat after partaking in a hazing ritual at school, which required her to eat raw meat. Soon, her true self begins to emerge with unexpected and terrible consequences.

Written and directed by Julia Ducournau, the film also stars Ella Rumpf, Rabah Nait Oufella, Laurent Lucas and Joana Preiss.

The film ran through all the major film festival circuits, including Cannes and the Toronto International Film Festival, gaining widespread acclaim. Furthermore, rumors indicate that at the TIFF screening, someone passed out because of all the gory carnage. True or not, it's certainly the kind of publicity that sells tickets.

"Raw" will be released in theaters in the U.S. on March 10th, and France on March 15th.
