The sixth season of the comedy series "Fresh Off the Boat" has premiered on September 27, 2019 on ABC. Created by Nahnatchka Khan, the show is loosely inspired by the life of chef and food personality Eddie Huang and his 2013 autobiography of the same name. Huang also executive produces tthe series. The cast features Randall Park, Constance Wu, Hudson Yang, Forrest Wheeler, Ian Chen and Lucille Soong.

The fifth season of the sitcom "Fresh Off the Boat" has been released on October 5, 2018 on ABC. Created by Nahnatchka Khan, the series is loosely inspired by the life of chef and food personality Eddie Huang and his book of the same name, and it follows a Taiwanese family trying to make their way in America during the 1990s. The cast features Randall Park, Constance Wu, Hudson Yang, Ian Chen, Forrest Wheeler, Chelsey Crisp and Ray Wise.
