"Joe vs. Carole" is a drama limited series created by Etan Frankel based on the second season of Wondery's "Over My Dead Body" podcast of the same name. The series is based on the life of Joe Exotic, the former Oklahoma zoo operator and big cat breeder who was put on trial and sentenced to 22 years in prison for plotting to murder another big cat enthusiast. The cast features John Cameron Mitchell, Kate McKinnon, Kyle MacLachlan, Dean Winters, Brian Van Holt, William Fichtner and Nat Wolff. "Joe vs. Carole" premiered on March 3, 2022 on Peacock.

The second season of the comedy series "Shrill" has premiered on January 24, 2020 on Hulu. Created by Aidy Bryant, Alexandra Rushfield and Lindy West based on the non-fiction book "Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman" by Lindy West, the show follows Annie, an overweight young woman (Aidy Bryant) who wants to change her life, but not her body. The show is executive produced Elizabeth Banks and Lorne Michaels, and it also stars Lolly Adefope, Luka Jones, John Cameron Mitchell and Ian Owens.

HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters

Co-written and directed by John Cameron Mitchell ("Shortbus", "Rabbit Hole"), the sci-fi romantic comedy "How to Talk to Girls at Parties" is based on Neil Gaiman's short story of the same name, and it tells the story of a shy suburban London teenager (Alex Sharp) in 1977, who falls in love with a beautiful and rebellious alien teenager (Elle Fanning). The film also stars Nicole Kidman Ruth Wilson, Matt Lucas and Abraham Lewis.

"How to Talk to Girls at Parties" premiered at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. It was released in the U.K. on May 11, 2018, and in select theaters in the U.S. on May 25, 2018. It received mixed to negative reviews from critics.
