Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Movie Image

Emily Carmichael Jurassic World 3 Writer
As Universal is gearing up for the June 22nd release of "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom", the second film in the "Jurassic Park" reboot series, the studio is also getting ready to begin work on a third installment.

Colin Trevorrow, who directed and co-wrote the first film, will be directing the third chapter of the genetically-enhanced dino adventure, as well as executive-producing alongside Steven Spielberg. The script for "Jurassic World 3" will be penned by newcomer Emily Carmichael ("Pacific Rim: Uprising").

In an interview, Trevorrow spoke about Carmichael joining the team, saying that "It’s important to this franchise that we welcome new creative voices to keep our storytelling fresh and alive. I’m thrilled with the tension and beauty J.A. has brought to Fallen Kingdom, and I know Emily will add another layer of emotion to the concluding chapter of our trilogy."

Universal also officially confirmed the threequel's release date as June 11, 2021.

Although plot details are still being figured out and will probably remain a secret until the film hits theaters, here's what Trevorrow has planned for the franchise starting with "Fallen Kingdom" :
"Yes, absolutely … I knew where I wanted it to go. I remember telling Steven [Spielberg] even while we were still making the first movie, “This is the beginning. Here is the middle. And here’s the end of the end. This is where we want to go. I feel like that kind of design is crucial to a franchise like this if you really want to bring people along with you and make sure they stay interested. It needs to be thought through on that level. It can’t be arbitrary, especially if we want to turn this into a character-based franchise with people who you lean in to follow what they’re going to do.

“At the end of this movie, it’s not a cliffhanger, but it’s designed for people who want to know what’s going to happen next, whereas the earlier Jurassic Park movies had pretty clear definitive endings. They were pretty much episodic. In working with Derek Connolly, my co-writer, we were also thinking about where it was going to go in the future."

New Jurassic World Trailer and Three Posters

A new trailer and three posters have been released for "Jurassic World". Following a somewhat controversial first clip which was heavily criticized by pretty much everyone, the trailer offers plenty of new footage and a lot more action. The tone of this trailer is so dark, in fact, that it almost feels like the reboot is a crossover between "Alien" and "Jurassic Park". And for the most part I love it. I hope director Colin Trevvorow gets it right. Fans, however should lower their expectations, just in case. The posters are really cool, especially the one featuring Bryce Dallas Howard facing off with the killer dinosaur, which also gives us a sense of the creature's size.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer.

biggest-movie-mistakes-star-wars-stormtrooper-hits-head

We all know movies aren't always perfect. Beside narrative flaws, bad acting and stupid dialogue, the filmmakers also have to worry about stuff like continuity, extras, or simply hiding props or equipment within the shot. And, of course, it doesn't always work out too well. Screen Rant put together a cool video which highlights some of the biggest movie mistakes that you might have missed. The movies include "Gladiator", "Star Wars", "The Last Samurai", "Quantum of Solace" and "The Dark Knight Rises". I honestly missed quite a few of these, so check it out and see how many you missed. Enjoy !

A new set of viral videos and images have been released for "Jurassic World". The images tease a new kind of dinosaur that was genetically engineered for the new fully functional dinosaur theme park. The dinosaur is called Indominus Rex and is described as follows:
"We set out to make Indominus the most fearsome dinosaur ever to be displayed at Jurassic World. The genetic engineers at our Hammond Creation Lab have more than delivered. At first glance, Indominus most closely resembles a T. Rex. But its distinctive head ornamentation and ultra-tough bony osteoderms can be traced from Theropods known as Abeliosaurs. Indominus’ horns have been placed above the eye orbit through genetic material hybridized from Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops and Giganotosaurus. Fearsome indeed.

Indominus’ roar is estimated to reach 140-160db—the same as a 747 taking off and landing. And it can reach speeds of 30 mph…while confined to its enclosure. Come experience Indominus Rex for yourself beginning this summer. If you dare."
We also have two new videos designed as an introduction to the Masrani Corporation, the company that built the new park, financed all the research and is ultimately responsible for the inevitable disaster.

For more teaser stuff you can check out the film's website at JurassicWorld.com, where you can also find the newly introduced Park Cams.

Directed by Colin Trevvorow, the film stars Chris Pratt, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer.

A new set photo has been released online for "Jurassic World". The image was shared by director Colin Trevvorow and while it still doesn't reveal anything truly significant, it effectively teases the carnage that we can expect from the sequel. Trevvorow's film stars Chris Pratt, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer.

"Jurassic World" opens in theaters on June 12, 2015.
