the-nice-guys-retro-trailer-viral-videos-and-character-posters

Warner Bros has a new retro trailer, three viral videos and nine posters for the noir action comedy "The Nice Guys".

Since the film is set in the 1970s, the trailer carries a period-appropriate vibe. The virals feature lead actors Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling trying to work out their differences during therapy before they spend a whole lot of time together on the press tour promoting the movie.

Directed by Shane Black ("Lethal Weapon", "Iron Man 3") the film stars Russell Crowe, Ryan Gosling, Kim Basinger, Matt Bomer, Margaret Qualley, Keith David, Yvonne Zima and Ty Simpkins.

"The Nice Guys" opens in theaters on May 20, 2016.

Dwayne Johnson Wedding Surprise

We can now add "Wedding Officiant" to the list of awesome things that Dwayne Johnson can do (he is now officially ordained). There'a actually some history behind this video, so let's start there. In 2013, during the press junket for "Pain & Gain", Nick Mundy, a member of the entertainment site Screen Junkies, got to act out his infinite love for The Rock, while basically ignoring everyone else during the interviews with the film's cast. Wahlberg looked especially hurt by Mundy's attitude. You can watch that trainwreck here. On the positive side, the event sparked a special kind of friendship between Mundy and Johnson that involved many more bizzare interviews.

In an interview for "Furious 7", Mundy asked if Johnson could be the best man at his wedding, which the actor declined. However, the Screen Junkies team and Johnson saw the opportunity of a lifetime for a special kind of surprise. And the results you can watch below:

Marvel's Phase 4 Fake Line-up

Marvel's Phase 4 plans have been leaked already, even though we haven't even seen Phase 3. But here it is. In case you were getting all excited about it, you should probably know that it isn't real. It's fake. It's a really bad joke by someone called Steven Rosenthal who thought it was funny to mess around with the hearts and minds of Marvel fans everywhere. Anyway, the fake line-up is somewhat interesting, with new superhero flicks like "Spatula", "Stranger Danger" or "Tiger-Mom" captivating us all the way through to the year 2023. Enjoy !

Arnold Schwarzenegger Acts Out Entire Career

Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently busy promoting his new film, "Maggie", and his latest stop was at "The Late Late Show", hosted by James Corden. And so, just like when Tom Hanks appeared on the show, Schwarzenegger got to act out his entire career in six minutes alongside Corden, going through films like "Terminator", "Predator", "Twins", "Kindergarten Cop", "Batman & Robin" and "Conan The Barbarian". The "True Lies" segment has to be the funniest, with Corden playing the Jamie Lee Curtis striptease scene. You need to see it to believe it. Enjoy !

Scarlett Johansson Black Widow

After the almost-record-breaking success of "Avengers: Age of Ultron", Scarlett Johansson and Marvel are moving forward with a Black Widow solo movie. But then again, you can't really trust SNL as a credible source of movie news, can you ? The fake trailer is a hilarious rendition of a romantic comedy titled "Black Widow: Age of Me", based on the premise that "Marvel gets women". Now that's hilarious.

And here is the official fake synopsis for the fake trailer for the fake sit-com starring Black Widow:
"In her first standalone film, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) juggles an internship at Fashion Weekly magazine and a complicated relationship with boyfriend Ultron."

hawkeye-sings-about-his-superpowers-jeremy-renner-parody-video

"The Avengers" superhero Hawkeye is in a tough position among all those big names like Captain America, Iron Man and The Hulk. He doesn't have any real superpowers, and he isn't given much to do, either. At least "Avengers: Age of Ultron" promises to redeem the character's reputation, but that doesn't mean that the guy doesn't have a lot to get off his chest. And what better way to do that than through music. Jeremy Renner personifies Hawkeye once more in this touching video (a parody of Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud"). Enjoy !

True Survivor David Hasselhoff

If you haven't heard of "Kung Fury", well, you're not alone. I just found out about it myself. It's an insane Kickstarter-funded short that mimics the 1980s B-flick style and has raised $630,000 since December 2013. So, not surprisingly, the short's creators decided to get David Hasselhoff for the soundtrack. Hasselhoff sings (yes, he sings) the film's theme song "True Survivor", and the video perfectly captures the mood of the 1980s and showcases scenes from the short. If you really like the song, you can also buy it from Amazon and iTunes. And to appease your curiosity, here's the synopsis for "Kung Fury":
"During an unfortunate series of events a friend of Kung Fury is assasinated by the most dangerous kung fu master criminal of all time; Adolf Hitler, a.k.a Kung Führer. Kung Fury decides to travel back in time, to Nazi Germany, in order to kill Hitler and end the Nazi empire once and for all."
And here is the music video:

matthew-mcconaughey-reacts-to-star-wars-teaser-trailer

A wave of emotion has struck the Internet with the release of the second trailer for J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Unleashed". Few other franchises elicit such reactions from fans, so it's no wonder that Matthew McConaughey himself fell apart while watching the new teaser. The clip is actually a mix of one of McConaughey's emotional scenes from "Interstellar" with images from the "Star Wars" teaser. And it's very funny, because it's true. The video was created by director and filmmaker Óskar Arnarson. And if you want to watch the "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Unleashed" trailer, click here. Enjoy !

The announcement came via an April 1st prank. Reynolds attended an interview with Mario Lopez while on the set of "Deadpool", and when the issue of a family-friendly movie surfaced, things took an R-rated turn. snl-live-action-bambi-the-rock-dwayne-johnson

Disney is on a roll with the live-action adaptations of their classic animated films. SNL poked fun at the studio's endeavour by suggesting a live-action version of "Bambi" starring Dwayne Johnson as the titular character who is now seeking vengeance for the death of his mother. Also starring are Vin Diesel (Taran Killam) as Thumper, Tyrese Gibson (Jay Pharoah) as Flower and Michelle Rodriguez (Cecily Strong) as Faline. And check out that awesome new single from Ludacris, "Wham, Bam, Bambi".

the-hobbit-the-battle-of-the-five-armies-honest-trailers-how-it-should-have-ended

Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" trilogy has received plenty of negative comments for being an overlong and unnecessary addition to the Middle Earth franchise. I personally loved the trilogy, as they're still some of the best fantasy adventure films Hollywood can offer these days, but I must agree that stretching a 300-page book over three movies, each with considerable running times, is overall a questionable decision for a cinematic project. Some cinematic adaptations are accused of not being faithful enough to the source material, but Jackson can't be accused of it since he even had to add material outside the book (Tolkien's Appendecies) to pad out the running time. I think two movies would have been sufficient for this story, as was originally planned when Guillermo del Toro was on board to direct.

Honest Trailers and How it Should Have Ended have each delivered their own funny takes on the last movie in the franchise, "The Battle of the Five Armies". Regardless of how you feel about Jackson's movie, the videos are still quite funny. Enjoy !

tom-hanks-late-late-show-viral-video

"The Late Late Show" was rebooted with James Corden ("Into the Woods") as its new host and the late-night debut gave us an instant viral featuring Tom Hanks who, with Corden's help, acted out his entire filmography (or most of it, anyway) in just eight minutes (the clock actually lists a running time of 7 minutes). The setlist includes such hits as "The 'Burbs", "Sleepless in Seattle", "Forrest Gump", "Philadelphia", "Saving Private Ryan", "Catch Me if You Can", "Toy Story" and "The Da Vinci Code", but my favorite has to be the "Cloud Atlas" segment. The result is hilarious as you can see below:

A new set of viral videos and images have been released for "Jurassic World". The images tease a new kind of dinosaur that was genetically engineered for the new fully functional dinosaur theme park. The dinosaur is called Indominus Rex and is described as follows:
"We set out to make Indominus the most fearsome dinosaur ever to be displayed at Jurassic World. The genetic engineers at our Hammond Creation Lab have more than delivered. At first glance, Indominus most closely resembles a T. Rex. But its distinctive head ornamentation and ultra-tough bony osteoderms can be traced from Theropods known as Abeliosaurs. Indominus’ horns have been placed above the eye orbit through genetic material hybridized from Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops and Giganotosaurus. Fearsome indeed.

Indominus’ roar is estimated to reach 140-160db—the same as a 747 taking off and landing. And it can reach speeds of 30 mph…while confined to its enclosure. Come experience Indominus Rex for yourself beginning this summer. If you dare."
We also have two new videos designed as an introduction to the Masrani Corporation, the company that built the new park, financed all the research and is ultimately responsible for the inevitable disaster.

For more teaser stuff you can check out the film's website at JurassicWorld.com, where you can also find the newly introduced Park Cams.

Directed by Colin Trevvorow, the film stars Chris Pratt, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer.

"Jurassic World" opens in theaters on June 12, 2015.

A new viral video has been released for the sequel "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes".
