The second and final season of the HBO drama series "Like Water for Chocolate" ("Como agua para chocolate") has premiered on February 15, 2026 on HBO Max. Produced by Salma Hayek Pinault, the six-episode season continues the story of star-crossed lovers Tita (Azul Guaita) and Pedro (Andrés Baida) as their forbidden romance intensifies amid revolution and strict family traditions. New episodes air weekly until the finale on March 22, 2026.

LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE Series Trailers and Poster

"Like Water for Chocolate" is a new series executive produced by Salma Hayek. Set during the Mexican Revolution, the show is based on Laura Esquivel's novel of the same name that also spawned an acclaimed 1993 feature film. The cast includes Irene Azuela, Lesslie Apodaca, Louis David Horne, Azul Guaita, Ana Valeria Becerril and Andrea Chaparro. The show premiered on November 3, 2024 on HBO/Max.
