"Maggie" is a new comedy series created by Justin Adler and Maggie Mull. The show follows a young woman who tries to cope with life while coming to terms with her abilities as a psychic. The cast includes Rebecca Rittenhouse, Trent Garrett, Chase Yi, Adam Korson, Nichole Sakura, Chris Elliott, Chloe Bridges and Angelique Cabral. The series premiered on July 6, 2022 on Hulu.

In Theaters: HOT PURSUIT, THE D TRAIN, MAGGIE, PLAYING IT COOL

With "Avengers: Age of Ultron" still looming over the box-office, this week doesn't offer any spectacular releases, but does bring a few interesting minimalistic choices. The only wide release is the action comedy "Hot Pursuit" starring Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara. The film has been trashed by critics, but could stand a chance at a No.2 ranking at the box-office. "Maggie" is one of the week's limited releases that sparks the most interest mostly due to the fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger attempts some heavy drama in this unusually introspective zombie flick. Other noteworthy limited releases are the comedy "The D-Train" starring Jack Black and James Marsden and the trippy romantic comedy "Playing it Cool" starring Chris Evans and Michelle Monaghan. Six new clips from the zombie drama "Maggie" have been released. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the role of a father who tries to hold on to his infected daughter (Abigail Breslin) for as long as he can before she turns into a flesh-eating monster. The film takes a more introspective approach to the zombie apocalypse and gives Schwarzenegger the chance to stretch his dramatic muscles. And critics have indeed praised the actor for his performance, even though the film has been receiving mixed reviews. Breslin received equally glowing reviews for her role as the zombie daughter. Directed by Henry Hobson, the film also stars Joely Richardson, Laura Cayouette, Raeden Greer and Bryce Romero.

"Maggie" begins a limited run in theaters today.

The first trailer for the zombie drama "Maggie" has been released online. The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as a father who vows to protect his infected daughter (Abigail Breslin) at all costs even though her condition worsens and the authorities seek to eradicate those with the virus. The premise is interesting enough and Schwarzenegger seems to pull off a solid dramatic role. Of course, I can't say I buy into the trailer's hype titles, but I'm sure it could work and I really hope it does. Time will tell. The film is directed by Henry Hobson and it also stars Joely Richardson, Laura Cayouette, Raeden Greer and Bryce Romero.

"Maggie" will debut on April 22nd at the Tribeca Film Festival, followed by a limited release on May 8th.

MAGGIE Images: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin in Zombie Drama

The first images have been released for the horror drama "Maggie" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Abigail Breslin and Joely Richardson. The story follows a farmer (Schwarzenegger) who struggles to protect his teenage daughter (Breslin) who has been infected by an outbreak of a disease that slowly turns the infected into zombies. The film only has a release date set for Malaysia (November 20, 2014), but it will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
