"Marlowe" is a neo-noir thriller directed by Neil Jordan ("The Crying Game", "Interview With the Vampire") from a script by William Monahan ("The Departed", "Kingdom of Heaven") based on the 2014 novel "The Black-Eyed Blonde" by John Banville under the pen name Benjamin Black. The cast includes Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Alan Cumming, Francois Arnaud, Ian Hart, Danny Huston, Daniela Melchior and Colm Meaney. The film opened in theaters on February 15, 2023.

Weekend Box-Office: ANT-MAN AND THE WASP - QUANTUMANIA Dominates Presidents Day Frame

As expected, the Marvel movie "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" dominated the Presidents Day weekend box-office, and also managed to score a record for the "Ant-Man" series. The neo-noir thriller "Marlowe" starring Liam Neeson was also released in theaters, but failed to impress.

• The neo-noir detective thriller "Marlowe" starring Liam Neeson as the iconic detective. Directed by acclaimed Irish filmmaker Neil Jordan ("The Crying Game", "Interview With the Vampire"), the film also stars Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Alan Cumming, Francois Arnaud, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ian Hart, Colm Meaney and Danny Huston.
• The new romantic comedy "Somebody I Used to Know" directed by actor Dave Franco, who also co-wrote the script with Alison Brie. Brie also stars alongside Jay Ellis, Kiersey Clemons, Danny Pudi, Julie Hagerty, Olga Merediz, Haley Joel Osment and Amy Sedaris.
• The horror film "Baby Ruby" starring Noemie Merlant, Kit Harington, Meredith Hagner and Reed Birney. The film marks the directorial debut of actress-turned-filmmaker Bess Wohl, who also wrote the screenplay.
