four-weddings-and-a-funeral-new-on-blu-ray

Product Description: The champagne is flowing and so is the fun in this "delightful and sly", (Roger Ebert) romantic comedy about two people who belong together but just can’t seem to tie the knot.

Charlie (Hugh Grant, Bridget Jones’s Diary) is always a best man but never a groom. Determined to avoid commitment at all costs, the handsome and charming Charlie is in for the surprise of his life when he catches a glimpse of the beguiling Carrie (Andie MacDowell, Groundhog Day) ... and now this confirmed bachelor is no longer so confirmed, as he finds himself caught up in the dance of laughter and love.

Bolstered by a sparkling screenplay from Richard Curtis (Love Actually) and an outstanding ensemble cast, including Kristin Scott Thomas (The English Patient), and Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean), Four Weddings And A Funeral is a delightfully engaging occasion that you can’t afford to miss!

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away last night at age 54. His most memorable role was that of death-row inmate John Coffey in Frank Darabont's "The Green Mile", which earned him an Academy Award nomination. He also starred in movies like "Armageddon", "Daredevil", "Talladega Nights" and "The Whole Nine Yards". The actor was hospitalized in July following a heart attack and was receiving treatment for the past two months. Rest In Peace Michael Clarke Duncan.

Director Jose Padilha has picked up a new actor to play the villain in his "RoboCop" remake after Hugh Laurie quit the project. The villain, Omnicorp CEO Raymond Sellars, will be played by Michael Keaton ("Batman", "Beetlejuice"). "RoboCop" is scheduled for release on August 9, 2013. Here is what Padilha had to say about this new addition to his project :
"Michael is the final addition to the amazing cast we have assembled for this film and it is so great to have the last puzzle piece in place. It is thrilling that everything has come together to bring this innovative new vision of RoboCop to life. We’ve got a great script, a great cast, some killer ED-209’s and I can’t wait to get Alex Murphy back on the streets."

David Fincher is still trying to figure out a sequel to last year's "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". While the adaptation of Steig Larsson's novel was successful, earning around $230 million worldwide, it sure wasn't the big hit that Sony was expecting. Fincher said that he's "trying to figure out a sequel to Dragon Tattoo" and that he wants to be able to make it his own. This is probably a reaction to the US version of the books coming out so soon after the swedish versions, which were pretty popular themselves and propelled actress Noomi Rapace onto the Hollywood scene.

"The Hobbit" has transformed from a duology to a trilogy. Director Peter Jackson and Warner Brothers figured out a way to make this happen, so now we have the titles and release dates for all three films. Here they are :

  • "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" - December 13th, 2013
  • "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" - July 18th, 2014
