Alex Neustaedter (
"Colony") stars as a kind-hearted outsider named Miles Hill, who stumbles upon a top-secret, robotic dog created by the military named A.X.L. Together, the two develop a special friendship based on trust, loyalty and compassion.
Becky G, Thomas Jane, Ted McGinley, Dominic Rains, Lou Taylor Pucci and
Patricia de Leon co-star.
"A.X.L." opened in theaters on August 24, 2018 and received mostly negative reviews from critics. The film is expected to gross around $5 million from 1,695 theaters in its opening weekend.
