RISEN Trailer, Featurettes, Clips, Images and Poster

The religious drama "Risen" opens today in theaters, so here are the official trailer, four featurettes and clips, a few images and a poster.

The film stars Joseph Fiennes ("Shakespeare in Love") as Clavius, a powerful Roman Military Tribune who is tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Jesus in the weeks following the crucifixion, in order to disprove the rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.

Although reviews for the film have been far from stellar, they are nonetheless much better than the critical reception that "Son of God" received in 2014. Most of the praise was directed towards Fiennes performance and the ambitious intentions that raise it slightly above the usual faith-based fare, even though considering previous entries in the genre, that might not be saying much.

Directed by Kevin Reynolds ("The Count of Monte Cristo", "Waterworld"), the film also stars Tom Felton, Peter Firth, Cliff Curtis, María Botto and Antonio Gil.

In Theaters: KRAMPUS, THE LETTERS, MACBETH, MI-5

This week in theaters, well, not much is happening. For those looking to catch some big blockbusters, all I can say is: "not yet". We do have an assortment of smaller films of good value. First off is the Christmas horror comedy "Krampus", a solid offering from the director of "Trick'r'Treat". Also in wide release is the Mother Teresa biopic "The Letters" which critics did not love so much, but could prove inspirational enough for the holidays. In limited release you can choose between the Palme d'Or nominated Shakespeare adaptation "Macbeth", or the British spy thriller "MI-5". More about each movie after the jump.

The British spy thriller "MI-5", formerly known as "Spooks: The Greater Good" is making its U.S. debut today, so here are the official trailer, clips, images and posters for the film.

Based on the TV series of the same name, Kit Harington stars as a former MI-5 agent who is brought back to capture a rogue agent (Peter Firth) and prevent an imminent attack on London after a terrorist escapes the agency's custody during a routine handover.

The cast also features Jennifer Ehle, David Harewood, Tuppence Middleton, Lara Pulver and Elyes Gabel.
