Weekend Box-Office: A QUIET PLACE Reclaims Top Spot

With the Dwayne Johnson blockbuster "Rampage" winding down in its second weekend, the horror film "A Quiet Place" reclaimed the top spot at the box-office, even though it was a pretty tight race. Meanwhile new arrival "Super Troopers 2" surprised everyone, and Amy Schumer's comedy "I Feel Pretty" managed a decent debut.

It was a close race at the weekend box-office, but the Dwayne Johnson blockbuster "Rampage" managed to very narrowly surpass last week's #1 film, the horror "A Quiet Place". Another horror film, the new Blumhouse release "Truth or Dare" scored an impressive debut.

RAMPAGE (2018) Trailers, TV Spots, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"Rampage" is a sci-fi action film based on the video game series of the same name. Directed by Brad Peyton ("San Andreas"), the film stars Dwayne Johnson as a primatologist who teams up with a geneticist (Naomie Harris) to stop three raging creatures of enormous size from destroying Chicago. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello, Will Yun Lee and P.J. Byrne co-star.

"Rampage" opened in theaters today, April 13, 2018. Reviews for the film, so far, have been mixed, and it's expected to gross $35-40 million in its opening weekend at the box-office.

Paul Getty's grandson (also portrayed in Ridley Scott's "All the Money in the World"), and the second season of "Atlanta". Also, Amazon released the first trailer for the fourth season of their crime drama series "Bosch".
