New REGRESSION Clips, Images and Posters

Alejandro Amenábar's thriller "Regression" begins a limited run in theaters this week and we have seven new clips, twenty-seven images and seven posters for your viewing pleasure.

Amenábar has had great results with films like "The Others", "The Sea Inside", "Abre Los Ojos" and even "Agora", but this one is just a puzzling entry in the filmmaker's resume. The movie has been receiving some incredibly poor reviews in which critics complain about the lack of tension and surprise, the overly serious tone and a preposterous plot.

The film stars Ethan Hawke, Emma Watson, David Dencik, David Thewlis, Dale Dickey, Lothaire Bluteau and Devon Bostick.

REGRESSION Trailers and Posters

The first trailers and posters for the thriller film "Regression" have been released. Written and directed by Alejandro Amenábar ("The Others"), the film stars Ethan Hawke ("Sinister") as a detective who investigates the case of a young woman (Emma Watson) who accuses her father (David Dencik) of an unspeakable crime. When the father admits his guilt despite not remembering any part of his crime, a renowned psychologist (David Thewlis) is brought in to help unlock his memory and bring to light a dark mystery. The film also stars Dale Dickey, Lothaire Bluteau and Devon Bostick

"Regression" opens in theaters on August 28th.
