6 New Clips for Steven Spielberg's THE BFG

Steven Spielberg's new family film "The BFG" is now in theaters. The critics offered mostly positive reviews for the film, although some had more mixed opinions about it. While the film clearly succeeds as family-friendly entertainment, some reviewers complained about the downplaying of Roald Dahl's book's darker elements, while others went straight for strong words like "boring" and "uninspiring", which I personally feel are a bit too much.

The film stars Ruby Barnhill, Mark Rylance, Rebecca Hall, Jemaine Clement, Penelope Wilton and Bill Hader.

THE BFG New Trailer and Posters

Disney and Steven Spielberg have joined forces for the first time in filmmaking history for the adaptation of Roald Dahl's book "The BFG". The film stars Ruby Barnhill, Mark Rylance, Rebecca Hall, Jemaine Clement, Penelope Wilton and Bill Hader.

"The BFG" opens in theaters on July 1st, 2016.

New THE BFG Trailer, Images and Poster

Disney has released a new trailer, some images and a poster for Steven Spielberg's "The BFG".

The film is based on Roald Dahl's book and it tells the story of the friendship between a little girl (Ruby Barnhill) and a friendly giant (Mark Rylance) who is considered an outcast by the other giants because he refuses to eat children. Rebecca Hall, Jemaine Clement, Penelope Wilton and Bill Hader co-star.

"The BFG" opens in theaters on July 1st, 2016.

THE BFG (2016) - Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for Steven Spielberg upcoming fantasy film "The BFG" has been released. This marks the first project directed by Spielberg for Walt Disney Pictures and his second collaboration with "E.T" screenwriter Melissa Mathison.

Based on Roald Dahl's book, the film tells the story of a friendly giant who is considered an outcast by the other giants because he refuses to eat children. The Big Friendly Giant befriends a little girl (Ruby Barnhill) and together they embark on a great adventure. The giant will be played by Mark Rylance via motion-capture.

The film also stars Rebecca Hall, Jemaine Clement, Penelope Wilton and Bill Hader
