Official Synopsis : Inspired by the string of real-life unsolved murders in a small Texan town, this tense and haunting thriller follows a local homicide detective (Sam Worthington), and his partner, a transplanted cop from New York City (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as they track a sadistic serial killer dumping his female victims' mutilated bodies in a nearby marsh dubbed The Killing Fields. The killer changes the game and begins hunting the detectives, teasing them with possible clues at the crime scenes while always remaining one step ahead. When a familiar local girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) goes missing the detectives find themselves in a race against time to find their killer before she is murdered.

Official Synopsis: A serial killer has been terrorizing the city. An innocent bystander witnesses his latest attack, but while fleeing, she falls from a bridge and is knocked unconscious. When she awakes in hospital, she can't recognize family, her boyfriend, or even her own face in the mirror. She is diagnosed to with prosopagnosia, or 'face blindness'. She is incapable of recognizing the same face twice. Every time she looks at someone, it's like she's never met them before. Being the only witness, she is hunted by the killer, leaving her paranoid in a sea of unfamiliar faces.

New on DVD & Blu-Ray : DEXTER - THE FIFTH SEASON (2010)

Synopsis: In the aftermath of last season's chilling finale Rita's death has left Dexter feeling responsible possibly even... guilty. Unable to deal with the trauma Dexter makes a drastic decision that will impact everyone around him. Quinn stirs up trouble at the station when he notes that Rita's murder which is being pinned on the Trinity Killer doesn't fit his normal murder profile. Things get even more heated when Quinn suggests to LaGuerta that they look at the husband: Dexter Morgan.

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 3D Remake Coming in 2012

I'm a little confused here. Apparently, producer Carl Mazzocone and director John Luessenhop ("Takers") are working on a remake of Tobe Hooper's cult classic "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". I'm confused, because, I thought we already had remake, produced by Michael Bay, in 2003, directed by Marcus Nispel ("Conan the Barbarian 3D"). That movie even had a prequel in 2006. Nevertheless, here they are, doing an update of the original story, in 3D. Well, at least it's not produced by Michael Bay. The movie is set for release on October 5, 2012.

So far it has been revealed that the story will take place after the events of Tobe Hooper's 1974 original. The screenplay was written by Luessenhop, Adam Marcus ("Jason Goes to Hell") and Debra Sullivan ("Danielle Steel's Once in a Lifetime"). The cast so far includes Alexandra Daddario ("Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief") and Bill Moseley ("Repo! The Genetic Opers"). How this one will turn out, we'll see, but I have a feeling this should have been a direct-to-video release, instead of slashing our wallets wide open with the 3D ticket sales.
