OEDO FIRE SLAYER - THE LEGEND OF THE PHOENIX Anime Series Trailers, Images and Poster

"Oedo Fire Slayer: The Legend of Phoenix" is a new anime series based on the Japanese novel series "Ushūboro Tobigumi" written by Shogo Imamura. Shodensha publishes the novels in Japan since March 2017, with 13 volumes published to date. Akita Akita Shoten serializes a manga adaptation with artwork by Shinobu Seguchi since April 2025.

The anime is directed by Hiroshi Yasumi at studio SynergySP, with series composition by Ryusuke Mori and music by Yasuharu Takanashi. Amuse Creative Studio is producing the series under their ACS Animation label.

The opening theme song is "Hamidashi Gomen" performed by Porno Graffitti, while the ending theme song is "Kagerō" ("Heat Haze")" performed by Yo Oizumi. The voice cast includes Yūichirō Umehara, Shūichirō Umeda, Subaru Kimura, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Kensho Ono and Kent Ito.

"Oedo Fire Slayer: The Legend of Phoenix" has premiered on January 11, 2026 and also streams on Crunchyroll.

THE BANISHED COURT MAGICIAN AIMS TO BECOME THE STRONGEST Anime Series Trailer, Clips, Images and Posters

"The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest" is a new anime series basased on the light novels written by Alto and illustrated by Yuunagi. Kodansha publishes the original light novels under their Kodansha Ranobe Books imprint. Kodansha also serializes a manga adaptation with artwork by Yuki Monji in their Magazine Pocket publication.

Ken Takahashi directs at animation studio GEKKOU. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu provides the series composition and Yoko Sato provides the character designs. The opening theme titled "Quest" is performed by Kiro Akiyama, while aruma performs the ending theme "Kakera" ("Fragments").

The voice cast includes Shūichirō Umeda, Yurika Kubo, Hikaru Midori, Masaaki Mizunaka, Atsushi Abe, Hikaru Midorikawa, Masumi Tazawa, Noaya Uchida, Akira Ishida and Sakura Tange.

The English dub features Eduardo Vildasol, Mikaela Krantz, Zac Loera, Celeste Perez, Parker Davis Gray, Hayden Daviau, William Ofoegbu, Daniel Van Thomas, Izzi Raine, Lily Gast, Ryan Seale, Drew Kocour and Robin Clayton.

The series premiered on October 4, 2025 and also streams on Crunchyroll.

THE SUMMER HIKARU DIED Anime Series Trailers, Images and Posters

"The Summer Hikaru Died" is a new anime serries based on the manga series written and illustrated by Mokumokuren, which is serialized on Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace Up web imprint since August 2021, releasing six volumes in Japan to date.

Ryohei Takeshita ("Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night") directs at studio CygamesPictures and serves as series composer, while Yuichi Takahashi ("Vivy -Fluorite Eye's Song-") serves as character designer and chief animation director and Masanobu Hiraoka serves as "Dorodoro" animator ("Chainsaw Man") episode director). The opening theme song is "Saikai" ("Reunion") by Vaundy, while the ending theme song is "Anata wa Kaibutsu" ("You Are My Monster") by Tooboe.

The voice cast includes Shūichirō Umeda, Chiaki Kobayashim, Yumiri Hanamori, Wakana Kowaka, Chikahiro Kobayashi, Yoshiki Nakajima and Shion Wakayama.

"The Summer Hikaru Died" premiered on July 5, 2025 on Netflix globally, while Abema is streaming it in Japan for free.
