The film is co-written and directed by Italian filmmaker Gabriele Muccino ("Seven Pounds", "The Pursuit of Happyness", "Fathers & Daughters").

SHADOW FORCE (2025) - Trailer, Clip, Featurette, Images and Poster

"Shadow Force" is an action thriller directed by Joe Carnahan ("Narc", "The Grey") from a script co-written by Carnahan and Leon Chills. The film stars Kerry Washington and Omar Sy as an estranged couple with a bounty on their heads who must go on the run with their son (Jahleel Kamara) to escape their former employer, a unit of shadow ops that has been sent to kill them. Mark Strong, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Method Man, Natalia Reyes and Marshall Cook co-star. The film opened in theaters on May 9, 2025

Weekend Box Office: THUNDERBOLTS Continues To Lead With $32.3 Million Second Frame

Marvel's "Thunderbolts*" topped the box office charts in its sophomore weekend, although it did help that there were no new major films to compete against it. The only new semi-wide releases "Clown in a Cornfield", "Shadow Force" and "Fight or Flight" didn't make much of an impression.
