FIST OF THE NORTH STAR: HOKUTO NO KEN (2026) - Anime Series Trailers, Images, Posters

"Fist of the North Star: Hokuto No Ken" is a new anime series based on the Japanese manga series written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara. The show is not the first adaptation. It was previously adapted into two 1980s anime television series produced by Toei Animation (1984-1988). The franchise also features several anime films, a live-action film, original video animations (OVAs), video games, and spinoffs focusing on other characters from the original story.

The new series is directed by Hiroshi Maeda at TMS Entertainment, with Kazuma Ogasawara serving as assistant director, Kazuhiko Inukai handling series composition, Naoki Hisatsune designing the characters, and Yuki Hayashi composing the music.

The opening theme song is "Hallelujah" by Alexandros, and the ending theme is a cover of "Ai o Torimodose!!", the opening theme of the original anime, performed by Toshi. The voice cast includes Shunsuke Takeuchi, Daiki Yamashita, M.A.O, Saori Hayami, Kōji Yusa, Wataru Takagi, Tsuguo Mogami and Taiten Kusunoki.

"Fist of the North Star: Hokuto No Ken" premiered on April 11, 2026 and also streams on Amazon Prime Video worldwide, which distributes the series in its uncensored version, while a censored version is broadcast on Japanese television.

THE SHY HERO AND THE ASSASSIN PRINCESSES Anime Series Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters

"The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses" is a new anime series based on the manga series of the same name written by Norishiro-chan and illustrated by Yukiji Setsuda.

Noriaki Akitaya ("Reborn as a Vending Machine", "I Now Wander the Dungeon") directs at studio CONNECT, with Michiko Yokote ("Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill") on series composition, Takao Sano ("Restaurant to Another World") on character designs and Shun Narita ("The Unwanted Undead Adventurer") on music.

The opening song is "Tenden Barabara" by Yoshino, while the ending them is "Suki Magazine" by Iori Saeki, Haruka Shiraishi and Hitomi Ueda a.k.a. Ciel, Goa and Anemone. The voice cast includes Shunsuke Takeuchi, Iori Saeki, Hitomi Ueda and Haruka Shiraishi.

The series premiered on July 5, and it's also streaming on Crunchyroll.

WELCOME TO THE OUTCAST'S RESTAURANT ! Anime Series Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters

"Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!" is a new fantasy cooking series based on the Japanese light novel series written by Yuki Kimikawa, illustrated by Gaou, and published in Japan by Overlap under their Overlap Novels imprint.

The series was first serialized on the Japanese self-publishing site Shosetsuka ni Naro by Kimikawain 2018 before being picked up for print in 2019 with illustrations by Gaou. It was then adapted into an ongoing manga in 2020 from Tsumumi. As of December 2024, the series boasts 850,000 copies in circulation. Kaiten Books also publishes an English language version of the manga adaptation with artwork by Tsumumi.

The series is directed by Joji Shimura ("Tamagotchi!") at studio OLM. Series composition is handled by Deko Akao ("WITCH WATCH"), with character designs by Aoi Yamato ("Life With an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated Into a Total Fantasy Knockout") and music by Masato Koda ("Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill").

The ending song is "Magokoro My Heart" by Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu, and the opening song is "Unique" by Dannie May. The voice cast includes Shunsuke Takeuchi, Marika Tachibana, Sayumi Suzushiro, Mariya Ise, Satsumi Matsuda, Ryōta Suzuki and Chika Anzai.

"Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!" premiered in Japan on TOKYO MX and other stations on July 3, 2025, and it is also streaming on Crunchyroll.
