"Pure" is a Canadian crime drama series created by Michael Amo ("The Listener"). The show follows Noah Funk (Ryan Robbins), a newly-elected Mennonite pastor, who is determined to rid his community of drug traffickers by working undercover within an organized crime network. The cast also includes A.J. Buckley, Peter Outerbridge, Alex Paxton-Beesley and Rosie Perez.
"Pure" premiered on January 9, 2017 on CBC, and was picked up by Hulu, and then by WGN America in the U.S. The series was not initially renewed for a second season, but a new six-episode season was eventually ordered after the show was picked up by Super Channel. Season 2 premiered on May 29, 2019 on WGN America.
