Video Game Description: The year is 1977. Your nephew has joined a religious cult and moved with them to the South American jungle to found Freedom Town. It's up to you to sneak into the commune, find out what's really going on, and decide if you need to get your nephew out.

Infiltrate the compound and investigate the people within. The scenario changes each time you play, and every time you must determine just how dangerous the leaders Rebecca and Isaac, are. Is this a socialist utopia or an oppressive prison?

THE CHURCH IN THE DARKNESS Gameplay Trailer and Images

"The Church in the Darkness" is an action adventure indie game developed by Paranoid Productions that is set in a very isolated colony called Freedom Town, hidden in a South American jungle, which is home to a cult called The Collective Justice Mission. The story's protagonist is Vic, an ex-law enforcement officer who infiltrates the cult in search of his newphew, but soon learns that things may not be what they seem.

"The Church in the Darkness" will be released in early 2017 on PC (Steam), PS4 and Xbox One. For more details, check out the official website.
