THE DEFENDERS Series Trailers, Clips, Featurette, Images and Posters

Marvel and Netflix team up once more for the new series "The Defenders". Created by Douglas Petrie ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") and Marco Ramirez, the MCU show features Marvel characters Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones), who band together to fight crime in New York City as a new threat emerges, a supervillain organization called The Hand, which is led by the dangerous Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver).

The cast also includes Elden Henson, Jessica Henwick, Simone Missick, Rachael Taylor, Rosario Dawson, Scott Glenn, Deborah Ann Woll and Elodie Yung. Jon Bernthal will have guest appearances as The Punisher.

"The Defenders" premieres its full eight-episode first season today, August 18th, 2017 via Netflix, worldwide.

Watch All 2016 Comic-Con Trailers

The Comic-Con 2016 offered plenty of memorable moments and announcements, and some of the most important of these are the trailers for some of the most highly anticipated films and TV shows of 2016 and 2017. You can watch all of those trailers after the jump, but first, here's a quick look at what you can expect:

• Wonder Woman - From Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment comes the epic action adventure starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright. In theaters June 2017.
• Suicide Squad - This new trailer promotes the film's soundtrack.
