Product Description: Shortly after defeating The Thinker, Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin) and his wife, Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton), were stunned by the arrival of their already grown, speedster daughter from the future, Nora West-Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy). However, acclimating to their new lives as parents won’t be the only challenge they face, as season five pits Team Flash against Central City’s latest scourge – the DC Super-Villain Cicada. THE FLASH Season 5 Trailers, Clip, Images and Posters

The DC Comics series "The Flash" returns for its fifth season today, October 9, 2018 on The CW at 8p. The new 22-episode season will follow Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin), a police forensic scientist endowed with superhuman speed, as he deals with the consequences of his future daughter's time traveling, while also fighting crime alongside fellow metahumans. The fifth season's main villain is Cicada, played by Chris Klein.

The cast also includes Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet, Hartley Sawyer and Jessica Parker Kennedy. The new season will include an "Arrow" crossover that will feature Batwoman and Gotham City, which will air in December 2018, followed by a possible solo series for the character.
