Weekend Box-Office: THE PERFECT GUY and THE VISIT Top the Charts

This weekend, two new wide releases, M. Night Shyamalan's "The Visit" and the thriller "The Perfect Guy" fought hard for the top spot with decent results, providing a welcome change of pace after a couple of lacklustre weekends.

In Theaters: THE VISIT, THE PERFECT GUY, 90 MINUTES IN HEAVEN, GOODNIGHT MOMMY

New in theaters this week we have "The Visit", a return to the horror genre for writer/director M. Night Shyamalan, "The Perfect Guy", a thriller that wasn't screened for critics in advance, and "90 Minutes in Heaven", a faith-based drama like many others that came before it. In limited release, the Austrian horror "Goodnight Mommy" offers an art-house alternative for those seeking some genuine creepiness.

THE PERFECT GUY Trailer, Clips, Images and Posters

Today we have the official trailer, clips, images and posters for the thriller "The Perfect Guy" which opens today in theaters. Directed by David M. Rosenthal ("Janie Jones"), the film stars Sanaa Lathan as a successful lobbyist who jumps into a passionate relationship with a charming stranger (Michael Ealy) who turns out to be an obsessive creep. The film also stars Morris Chestnut as an ex-boyfriend who resurfaces in her life.

There are currently no reviews available as the film wasn't screened for critics, which is usually a bad sign regarding the film's quality. The cast also includes L. Scott Caldwell, Charles S. Dutton, John Getz, Tess Harper, Rutina Wesley and Kathryn Morris.
