PEAKY BLINDERS: THE IMMORTAL MAN (2026) - Trailers, Clip, Images and Posters

"Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man" is a crime drama directed by Tom Harper ("The Aeronauts") from a script by Steven Knight, the creator of the "Peaky Blinders" TV series that aired between 2013 and 2022. The cast includes Cillian Murphy, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, Ian Peck, Stephen Graham, Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Jay Lycurgo, and Barry Keoghan. The film was released by Netflix on March 20, 2026.

PEAKY BLINDERS Movie In the Works At Netflix With Cillian Murphy Starring and Producing

The official confirmation has arrived. A "Peaky Blinder" movie has been greenlit by Netflix, and Oscar winner Cillian Murphy is set to reprise the role of Birmingham clan leader Tommy Shelby.

The untitled project is being directed by Tom Harper ("Heart of Stone", "The Aeronauts", "War & Peace") from a script by "Peaky Blinders" creator Steven Knight. Harper previously directed the last half of the show's first season.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, although Knight has previously stated that a movie story would be set during World War II. Production is set to begin later this year. Producers are Caryn Mandabach, Knight, Murphy and Guy Heeley, while executive producers include Harper, David Kosse, Jamie Glazebrook, Andrew Warren and David Mason. The feature will be made in association with BBC Film.

Harper had this to say about the project: "It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn't finished with me…It is very gratifying to be recollaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of ‘Peaky Blinders.’ This is one for the fans,".

Jamie Dornan Joins Gal Gadot in Netflix's HEART OF STONE

"Belfast" and "Fifty Shades of Grey" actor Jamie Dornan is set to join Gal Gadot ("Red Notice", "Wonder Woman") in the international spy thriller "Heart of Stone" directed by Tom Harper ("The Aeronauts") from a script by Greg Rucka ("The Old Guard") and Allison Schroededr ("Hidden Figures").

The film is a Netflix and Skydance co-production, and has been described as a potential franchise-starter. Plot details are being kept under wraps. The project has been a high priority for Netflix following its competitive auction victory for the project in January 2021. Netflix and Skydance have previously collaborated on "The Old Guard", "6 Underground" and "The Adam Project".

Dornan recently starred in the BBC series "The Tourist" which will be released in the U.S. on March 3rd via HBO Max.

Gadot is set to play "Cleopatra" in an upcoming film directed by Kari Skogland. The actress is also set to appear in two sequels to "Red Notice" alongside Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson.

Gal Gadot to Star in Spy Thriller HEART OF STONE for Skydance

Gal Gadot has signed on to lead Skydance Media's upcoming spy thriller "Heart of Stone", which is intended to be a potential franchise starter that puts a female spin on action franchises like "Mission: Impossible" and "007".

The film will be directed by Tom Harper ("The Aeronauts") from a script by Greg Rucka ("The Old Guard") and Oscar nominated scribe Allison Schroeder ("Hidden Figures"). Gadot, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Jaron Varsano, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn will produce.

Skydance Media is still pondering whether this will be released in theaters or via streaming

Gadot can next be seen in the sequel "Wonder Woman 1984", which will be released on December 25th in theaters and via HBO Max. She also stars in Kenneth Branagh's "Death on the Nile", which unfortunately has been taken off the holiday movie calendar, with no new release date provided. She recently finished filming Netflix's "Red Notice" in which she stars opposite Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson, and she is also attached to star in Patty Jenkins' "Cleopatra".
