"Palestine 36" is a historical drama written and directed by Annemarie Jacir that focuses on the 1936–1939 Arab revolt against British colonial rule in Palestine during the Mandate period. The cast includes Jeremy Irons, Hiam Abbass, Liam Cunningham, Billy Howle, Kamel El Basha, Yasmine Al Massri, Jalal Altawil, Robert Aramayo and Saleh Bakri.

The film premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival where it received 20-minute standing ovation. It was selected as the Palestinian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards and made the December shortlist, but failed to secure a nomination. It was released in select theaters in the US on November 28, 2025, and via streaming on May 5, 2026.
