"Alpha" is a body horror film written and directed by Julia Ducournau ("Titane", "Raw"). The film stars Mélissa Boros as Alpha, a troubled 13-year-old who lives with her single mom, until their world collapses the day she returns from school with a tattoo on her arm. The cast also features Tahar Rahim, Golshifteh Farahani, Emma Mackey, Finnegan Oldfield and Louai El Amrousy.

The film premiered in competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Palme d'Or. It was released in theaters in France on August 20, 2025, and in the US in select theaters on March 27, 2026. On April 14, 2026 it was released on digital platforms.
