"Go for It, Nakamura!" is a new anime series based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Syundei. Akane Shinsha serialized the original manga from 2014 to 2016 in their Opera manga magazine as well as a sequel titled "Go For It Again, Nakamura-kun!!", which ran from 2017 to 2021. Both series were also released in collected volume form. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes an English-language version of the series.

The anime is directed by Aoi Umeki ("Pop Team Epic") who also provides character designs. Naoki Yoshibe is the assistant director, and series composition is handled by Yasuko Aoki ("Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister"). Music is composed by Ayana Tsujita ("The Demon Prince of Momochi House").

The voice cast includes Chiaki Kobayashi, Yuki Sakakihara, Takuya Eguchi, Fairouz Ai, Yukihiro Nozuyama, Atsushi Tamaru, Makoto Koichi, and Tsubasa Sasa. The opening and ending songs are "Glory Days" by Japanese jazz legend Senri Oe and "Sekaide Ichiban Atsui Natsu" by 80s/90s Japanese girl band Princess Princess.

The English dub features Nasim Benelkour, Patrick Pedraza, Emi Lo, Morgan Berry, Gillian Lange, Katie Wetch, Weston Loy, Nate Grizzly and Peyton Howard.

"Go for It, Nakamura!" premiered on April 1, 2026, and also streams on Crunchyroll, both subtitled and dubbed. New episodes to stream every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
